TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER

OPEN POSITION

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Technical Project Manager at Boulevard Consulting, you will be responsible for managing complex technical projects and coordinating the work of our team of data scientists, engineers, and other analysts. This is a hybrid role that will require both technical and project management skills. You will work closely with our stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure that the project delivers on their needs. Specifically, some of the great things you do will include the following:

  • Lead our team of data scientists, engineers, and other analysts and coordinate their work to ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget

  • Communicate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure that the project delivers on their needs

  • Manage project plans, budgets, and resources to ensure that the project stays on track

  • Identify and resolve technical issues that arise during the course of the project

  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on the progress of the project

WHO YOU'LL BE WORKING WITH

  • Our team of data scientists, engineers, and other analysts

  • Stakeholders from various departments within our organization, including business leaders, product managers, and technical experts

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field, such as computer science or engineering

  • At least 5 years of experience in a technical project management role

  • Strong hands-on technical skills, including experience with Python, JavaScript, Docker, AWS, and Kubernetes

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

  • Relevant project management certifications, such as a PMP from the PMI

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Able to qualify for a (Department of Defense) DoD SECRET Security Clearance.

  • BS Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics-related discipline.

  • 2+ years of experience systems or software engineering.

  • Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity and Authority to Operate (ATO) protocols.

  • Knowledge of containers and security technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes

  • Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines (GitLab, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, AWS Code Pipeline).

  • Self-starter who can work as part of a partly-virtual team and remain motivated in a dynamic environment.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of experience in relevant analytical methods serving DoD clients.

  • 2+ years of experience with infrastructure as code, terraform, packer, ansible.

  • Active DoD SECRET Clearance.

  • Experience with Python (e.g., Django) and/or JavaScript (e.g., React) web frameworks, is a huge plus.

  • Knowledge of AWS and/or Microsoft Azure products and services.

  • Experience interacting with Platform One deployment solutions (e.g., Party Bus).

WORK LOCATION

 

​​This position is remote with the option to work in-person in Arlington, VA

Secret clearance may be required. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and will need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
